School Times Chart

St. James Parish Schools’ number one priority is always the safety and well-being of students and staff. There are times when the adjustment of school times must be made to account for safety in our schools and our community.

Below are times that we will use when adjusting times for delayed start and early release of schools throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

• When operating on delayed start times, buses will arrive one hour, two hours, or three hours later than usual.
• When operating on early release times, buses will arrive one hour, two hours, or three hours earlier than usual.

We encourage parents and guardians to stay up-to-date with all notices from St. James Parish Schools through our website as well as our social media channels and local news stations.
