St. James Parish Schools

St. James Parish School System is excited to welcome back Linda Farrell, National Reading Expert, to St. Louis Academy this week.  Linda provides consulting and professional development for teachers and administrators that:

• models, fosters and guides effective reading instruction
• trains teachers on the effective reading instruction with emphasis on beginning and struggling readers 
• develops programs and products for teaching and intervening specific to beginning and struggling readers. 

We are happy Linda is back supporting our SLA literacy intervention program for the 2023-24 school year.  We look forward to her upcoming google meet teacher support groups and her next in person visit.  We are working to provide the highest levels of Literacy and Learning at SLA!
