questions & answers

The Louisiana Department of Education is trying to learn about the child care arrangements of Louisiana families with children under the age of 5. To do this, the Louisiana Department of Education asked the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children, a nonpartisan nonprofit, to conduct a voluntary survey of families with children under the age of 5.
If you have any children under the age of 5 in your home, please take a few minutes to fill out the "2021 Louisiana Child Care Parent Poll". This survey is for any parent, guardian, or caregiver raising children under the age of 5, not just moms and dads.
If you choose to respond to the voluntary survey, your answers will be kept confidential. You can answer the survey without giving your name.
Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and will not affect your eligibility for child care or any other services. You do not need to complete this survey to continue participating in any public program, including the Child Care Assistance Program.
To participate in this voluntary survey, visit the following webpage from any computer, tablet, or mobile device by November 3, 2021. You may also receive a text message with a link to the survey.
