St. James Teachers Receive STAR Award
On Thursday, April 19, 2012 Ms. Elizabeth Francis and Mrs. Tonya Harden received the STAR Award. This award is given by the Louisiana Regional Collaboratives. Ms. Francis and Mrs. Harden were recognized for their outstanding commitment to education. These teachers truly exemplify what Theodore Roosevelt said, “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” Ms. Francis and Mrs. Harden have given much of their own time completing coursework and attending professional development. In turn, they have implemented and shared their knowledge at their schools. Thanks for being such dedicated professionals.
